Patricia King Under Attack

A ministry that is powerfully annointed by God is that of Patricia King. Amazing supernatural manifestations occur in her services. She is careful to always point what is taking place to Jesus. He gets the glory.

Over the past year, like all supernatural ministries, she has come under attack. Contacting her partners, she finally responded to each accusation. You can hear her defense on Extreme Prophetic with Patricia King. However, you have to first register on her webpage. Then click on “Watch Extreme Prophetic TV Now!”. Then go to "Extreme Moments" and click on the appropriate icon “Patricia King - Controversy.”

As she points out, every time God does a new thing, those who have settled into what meant a great deal to them, become uncomfortable and lash out. The test of any move of God is, does it lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus?. One thing I know for certain is, people who become obsessed with attacking other ministries are not leading people deeper with our Lord.

Anyway, I sat down and wrote Patricia King the following e-mail

Dear Ms. King.
I watched your clip telling us about the lies being circulated about your ministry. I watched it all experiencing deep empathy and sorrow. I am a Board Certified Psychologist, an Anglican priest, a former Baptist minister, a retired university professor and a lifetime friend of the Rev. Charles Osborne. It was Father Osborne who turned me on to you

Spending my adult life doing psychotherapy tenderized me to psychological suffering. So I probably experienced more pain for you than you feel yourself. Anyway, I did go into intercessory prayer.

I know you realize that what is happening to you in these attacks goes with the territory. My son is a successful Rhema pastor, and no one suffered more attacks than his teacher, Kenneth Hagin. As you know, Hagin was called everything from new agey to heretic. Right now, I attend a Morningstar fellowship, and when I first heard of Rick Joyner and Googgled him, I knew he had to be on to something, as all I saw was him being accused of everything short of murder.

I know you had to let us who love your ministry know what was going on, but you have done it. As a minister and psychologist with over 45 years of experience behind me, I do hope you will take Jesus’ advice and now just shake the dust of your sandals off as a testimony against them.

Over the years watching Kenneth Hagin and Rick Joyner, I have never heard them waste a minute on their detractors. Please save your energy for your work.

Following Nehemiah,
“And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?” (Neh 6:3 )

Thank you for your letter to Patricia, your support and prayer.

Like you, I am a psychologist and ordained minister, and have experienced accusations both from my focus on desiring the deeper supernatural walk with God (yes, starting - for me - with brother Hagin in 1980, the attacks on psychology by fellow Christians, and ministering to women to bring healing, joy, tranqility especially in their personal intimate sphere as being new-age.

But as Patricia said in her video clip, we are in a love war.
What comes to mind is how the Apostle Paul commented in the carnality of some saying that they where of different camps.

Jesus said, the world will know that He was sent when we love one another.

Again, thank you for your outspokenness to promote love and a hunger for greater supernatural intimacy with Him!

Angelika.

I was thrilled to see a Spirit-filled psychologist out there offering clarity and positive comments on spiritual and emotional matters. I am a recently licensed psychologist in the Kansas City area. I'm excited about what God is doing on His earth! Blessings to you!

Karina, Thanks for the comment. I was told by one of her staff that Ms. King would see the blog right after I posted it. Since then, my impression is that she has done the smart thing and moved on without letting the attacks harm her. She is very incredible isn't she.

You wicked occult seducer of souls, you and Patricia will have your part in the lake of fire if you don't repent to the True Christ from your damnable occult heresies and false christs.

Alas Patricia King is among the false teachers , prophets , apostles , evangelists, who -if they may have a lot of zeal- make their disciples twice bas as them , with their false and occult teachings on the 3rd heavens encounters and their lust for supernatural in general. I believe in miracles and healing and angels, and gifts of the Holy Spirit , but not when when they occur in circles where something else than the true Gospel of Jesus-Christ is preached. God honors His Son and His Word , he does not give glory to the teachings of man or of the devil.

Thank you old man, for your wise advise.
I saw many people wrote blog and comments to attack her.
But what the Lord has done through her and her team here in Thailand are really awesome.
We know no matter what people say, still God is God and he won't stop doing his great work.
And yet God really encourages me (I believe many people on internet) through your blog.
God bless.

Patricia King does not preach the Jesus of the Bible, but some other Jesus. Rick Joyner has mixed gnosticism with his teachings, which makes him a dangerous man. Truly Godly people warn the sheep about the wolves - only the hirelings allow wolves to destroy the sheep. Psychology is man-centered, and flesh-centered, and therefore it is CONDEMNED by God. It is antichrist, because it teaches people to study and worship them SELVES rather than JESUS CHRIST. Repent and believe the truth so you can be saved. Read the Bible and obey it. We are in a TRUTH war, and those who truly love, speak the Truth without compromise. God bless you.

Jesus said for His names sake, we will be persecuted for loving and believing and serving Jesus, anything that we go through, Jesus already went through... its all part of the price we must pay for following Jesus... which is hardly anything compared to the price Jesus Christ paid for you and i.

I know true Christians by the amount of persecution they have to endure! Jesus said we WOULD be persecuted if we lived godly lives. I don't see her attacking anyone, I see her walking in love, so I know her by her fruit.
The fruit of her ministry is good, and the fruit of her conduct is good.
But the people who are out for blood, do not know the spirit that is operating through them, which is so sad.

I agree with you Anonymous about the attacks.

It is obvious that those who can't do the works of the Holy Spirit, can only criticize those who can.

The bible says that if you think you know something, you know nothing as you ought to know it. That is what is wrong with the church today. They think they know what the falling away will look like. They think they know what to look for to identify the false signs an wonders. They think that they know what is the whole truth. But in fact, they are grabbing the sword by the wrong end. In wielding this sword in this way, they are causing great damage to their own selves without knowing it.
We must rightly divide the word by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said to the religious people of His day, how can you believe who receive honor one from another, but do not seek that honor that comes from God alone. It is popular to attack these people who are experiencing the reality of Jesus Christ in their lives. They hungered and thirsted and are being filled. They sought and they knocked and they have found that heaven has opened up to them. For this they are attacked.
People say:
God can't;
God won't:
God is not:, as though they know exactly what God thinks. They disobey the bible they say that they know, by going public to attack a brother or sister without doing it the way the bible says to do it. Jesus told His followers they had to eat His flesh and drink His blood and many quit following Him. Why, because His words are spirit and life and they have to be discerned by the Holy Spirit. So many quit following Him because they became offended at Him for this saying.
So now, many are becoming offended at what He is doing with various churches and various believers, because they can't discern Him because of offense at the signs.
Jesus Himself said that His disciples would see Heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man from now on.
So if Jesus is still sending angels, this word is still a living word for our generation as many other living words that are so easily rejected by our generation.
One day, Jesus said that people will put us to death and they will think that they are doing God a service.
Jesus words are still alive and true:
Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Mat 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Mat 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Psa 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

My friend and I were recently talking about technology, and how integrated it has become to our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could encounter in my lifetime.

Oh dear this is such scary stuff...I would like you to look at the real persecuted Christians in Sudan, India, China... This woman is not persecuted she is being exhorted by the true Christians.
People will be so dsceived in the last days...now, and they will not be able to see the truth. Read your Bibles, be led by only Gods Word alone, not by any old person who claims things that do not happen anymore. Be a Berean...

Being called out for potentially heretical teachings is not persecution. If it were, Simon the sorcerer was persecuted, as were Demas and others mentioned in the New Testament.

The questions can be easily resolved - is there verifiable proof that anything she predicted has happened? Not annecdotal hearsay, I mean actual proof. When the prophets of old spoke, that which God said through them came to pass in an unmistakably clear fulfillment. (Or else they were to be stoned!)

Since most of what she has predicted has NOT happened (had it, it would be plastered all over even secular newscasts), or at very best some random event closely resembled a vague semblence of something she said, I lean towards saying she is not teaching scripturally. Be glad it's just some words flung her way and not God's remedy.

Which brings us to another point: as unpopular as it is to say so, the Bible clearly says that women should not teach or be in a position of authority over a man. And this stipulation was not, as the common excuse goes, because the culture of the day emphasized men.

Paul clearly says (1Ti 2:12-14)
I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

It is because the woman was deceived. And I can tell from many of the comments posted here, Eve wasn't the only one...

Sorry, but had Patricia followed God's clear commands in the first place (Be silent and no teaching)she would not have had her feelings hurt.
